My kitten's tummy feels hot, but she's acting normal. Is it okay?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 23 days old | 1.5 lbs

Hello sir/ma'am, This kitten is drinking her milk and she had few bites of dry food.. I took her to the vet yesterday and her temp. was normal now when I hold her I feel like her tummy is hot, Is that normal?? Shes also warm in general! Shes playful and sleeps and meows a lot. Please let m eknkw about the temp. Should I give her a cold bath if its not normal??

Hello, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Animals will often feel warm on certain parts of their body but that does not indicate there is a fever. If she was so warm to have a fever she would be acting sick (lethargic, not eating, not playing, etc). I personally would not be worried about this at all. Don't give her a cold bath. At this age kittens cannot thermoregulate well and you will give her a chill which will be the opposite problem (and worse in my opinion). My best recommendation is to monitor her for any signs of illness - if you notice any then take her to the vet for a check-up. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
