If your lovebird is suddenly very lethargic, you should have her seen by a vet. She might have an infection or other illness that needs treating. Birds are good at hiding illness, so once they look sick, they are often so much sicker than you think. Please get her seen by a vet to figure out what might be going on.

Thanks for reaching out about Sam. Try closing the window and provide heat support in the 80-85 F range, to give assistance. If remains lethargic, a veterinary visit is needed as she can be ill. Review diet and husbandry practices with the veterinarian, as optimal conditions are needed for recovery. Good luck.

Use a warm, moist washcloth to clear away any discharge or crust. Consider an exam with your veterinarian or an experienced avian vet to diagnose illness or injury. In the meantime, clean and sanitize Blue's cage, bowls, toys and perches. Discard anything that cannot be sanitized. Use paper towels on the cage bottom and change them daily. Keep Blue warm and as stress free as possible until she sees the doctor.

Blue is probably ill, but i couldn't tell you what is wrong based on these very general symptoms, you will need to take her to an avian vet where a blood test and faecal exam will be done to determine what is the cause of the disease before it can be treated.
