Is Brewer's Yeast for dogs with garlic flavoring safe for cats?

I used to purchase Brewer's Dried Yeast tablets formula with garlic flavoring for dogs and cats, you longer carry this product, but you have a product called Well and Good brewer's yeast tablets for dogs, would this same the same as Brewer's tablets that you have before, I give this to my cats and Well and Good prouduct does not state on it for cats. Can I still use this for my cats, could not see anything different about the two products. I would appreciate your feedback on this. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 10 lbs

Cats are much more sensitive to garlic's toxic effects than dogs appear to be. Using this product for a cat would not be recommended. As an alternative, you can purchase bulk brewer's yeast and mix 1/2 teaspoon into your cat's meal once daily as a supplement.
