My cat has diarrhea. Is a second deworming dose still needed?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 27 days old | 4 lbs

My cat has been dewormed once only... i missed the second appointment... is it important to have them dewormed coz there isnt any worms in there stool anymore.... also do you think they having diarrhea is a reason they didnt get dewormed??

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Parasites is certainly a good reason for diarrhea. I highly recommend you go in for that second appointment to get the dewormer. The reason is most of the time, it is needed to follow up on the initial deworming dose to be actually effective for most parasites. Good luck and have a great day!
