Pet's info: Dog | Manchester Terrier (Standard) | Male | 4 years and 2 months old | 25 lbs
He has horrible grass allergies, to the point that his paws and chest bleed every summer, even with using a mild oatmeal shampoo to wash off paws when he comes in the house. Keeping him IN the house. Using a hot spot and itch relief and Benedryl. Apoquel works great for him, but I can not afford 2.00 per pill for him. Any other suggestions? Sorry the photos do not show the true scope of how bad it is....hard to hold him still and take photos.

Poor Tank! Allergies can be so frustrating. There is another product that is a monthly injection called cytopoint. Sometimes this can be more economic then apoquel. You may want to ask your veterinarian about this product. You may also want to visit with your veterinarian about adjusting the apoquel dose. I have had many (not all) of my patients do fairly well at even half of the calculated dose. Best of luck and I hope you find a good solution soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
