My 7-year-old Yorkie has a squishy lump on her side. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 10 years old | 3 lbs

My dog Matilda is 7 years old she is a yorkie she has a lump between her rib cage and her back leg and it's not a fatty lump or cancer her stomach is speed but the limo don't seem to be her intestine it's just a swelled up are a on her side that's squishy

Any growth needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take Matilda to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.
