Is Triflex a flea and tick medicine or a generic for Trifexis?

Is Triflex a generic version of flea and tick medicine? My grandma said she used it, but I think she meant Trifexis. I just want to be sure.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! So there is something called Triflex which is a human joint supplement. It isn't used for flea and ticks. I would ask her again and ask her what she uses the product for. If she is referring to flea and tick prevention she likely just misspoke as there is no generic for Trifexis that I am aware of. Have a good day!
