My kitten has weak legs, isn't eating, and is incontinent. Is it contagious?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 4 lbs

My kitten I found isn't acting right. Her appetite isn't good. Have to force feed her. She can't control her potty functions. She Private area seems raw..haven't had her long. She has little use of back legs. She can't walk without sluggish. All has happened within a week. Waiting to see vet soon.. please help I have other cats too I don't want them to catch what she has if she's contagious.

Hello, sorry to hear about Angel. It sounds like theres a couple of things going on with her. Primarily the GI issues which could indeed be associated with something infectious such as parasites or viruses. Secondly, her back leg problems which could be secondary to her GI issues or from something else. Ideally, you should keep your kitten separate from your other cats to prevent transmission of anything that could be going on. Once Angel has been seen by her veterinarian and determined she can be around the other cats then you may re-introduce them. Use different food/water bowls and litter box then clean up her litter immediately. Wash your hands after cleaning after her and before touching your other cats. Hope this helps and best of luck.
