My dog ate garlic butter and begonia leaves. Are they toxic?

My chihuahua ate garlic butter last night and threw up overnight a white vomit. This morning she went outside and started eating some leaves off of my begonias. Should I be worried? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 7 years old | 9 lbs

However, garlic and butter both can affect her in different ways, especially by causing gastrointestinal symptoms like the vomiting. If you think she ate a large amount, she should be evaluated right away as that can be a significant toxicity. Also, begonias are very toxic to dogs sometimes resulting in kidney failure so if she ate any, she should be evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible.
