Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed
My cat was diagnosed with diabetes and we have her shots and stuff but then she got insulin shock and the vet we went to said to treat her diabetes with diet. So for the past month we’ve been doing that but recently (2 days) she’s been throwing up a lot and we don’t know why. Why is this happening and what should we do? Thank you in advance!

Vomiting can be related to a number of different problems ranging from hairballs to serious problems like kidney disease. With her history I would be concerned that she could be diabetic again and need insulin therapy - vomiting can be a sign of a serious complication of diabetes known as ketoacidosis. I’d recommend seeing a vet if the vomiting continues or if Oreo won’t eat or seems very lethargic.

Drinking less and urinating less means the diabetes is better regulated. So, that is good news. The vomiting is likely unrelated but you need to bring that up with your vet. Anything in the world can cause a cat to vomit - it is very non-specific so since your vet has all of Sox's medical history it is best to consult with them.
