My dog has bleeding, bumpy spots on his face. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 1 year old | 90 lbs

What do you think is wrong with my boy's face? Those spots bleed and are very bumpy. Don't know if it could be related, but his testicles sometimes swell. Once he was in obvious pain because of his testicles so i held an ice pack on them until the swelling went down:( We have puppies that were just finished nursing and they would sometimes suckle on his testicles, but we haven't seen them do that in awhile.

Hello. Thank you for using PetCoach. He is very handsome! Those bumps look like a local allergic reaction. I suggest you try using this spray a few times a day. Spray the solution on a cotton ball and then wipe it on the affected areas. If there is no improvement in a few days then you should get him to your vet for an exam. ( ) I don't think the swelling of the testicles has any relation to this. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
