Is it safe to bathe my cat with Dawn for fleas before Frontline?

Can I bathe my cat with dawn dish soap for fleas before applying Frontline flea drops. We are currently working on house clean up of flea problem. With vacuuming up and vacuum powder flea killer

Bathing your cat is not a good idea. There is no need to bathe him as Frontline will kill all the fleas that hop on him or are present on him. Midnight will appreciate it if you do not bathe him.... You can get a capstar tablet that will kill all the fleas on him. That is much easier than bathing. You will need to do the vacuuming regularly for a while including vacuuming uncarpeted floors and furniture. Definitely put flea powder into the vacuum cleaner bag to kill larvae and eggs and dispose of the bags outside in the trash. If you diligently use flea preventive on all of your pets and often vacuum your house, you will get rid of the problem.
