Why does my dog have scabs, dry skin, and hair loss on her back?

My dog started off having a huge black scab on her back then it became two more her skin is really dry an flaky an her hair is starting to fall out but only up the middle of her back is this all occurring. Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 75 lbs

I would be concerned that this could be some form of immune mediated disease or a reaction to something in the environment or medication or perhaps an infection of some sort. I recommend that you have Bella evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and treat accordingly.
