I bought frontline plus for dogs why is it bad ? and what’s the best brand dry food for puppies and I heard potatoes in dog food cause heart issues it said on the news is that sweet potatoes included

Frontline plus is not "bad". There may be areas where the fleas are resistant to Frontline, however this is valid for other flea and tick preventives also. I do not know what kind of news you were listening to, but cooked potatoes as well as cooked sweet potatoes are not detrimental to the health of your dog. They will not cause heart issues. Raw potatoes should not be fed as they contain solanin (which gets destroyed by cooking) which is toxic.
