My puppy has a lump on their eye near the tear duct. Is it cherry eye?

Hi my British bulldog pup suddenly has a lump on he’s eye , next to tear duct doesn’t seem to be bothering him do you think I need to get it checked

Although a picture of it would help to determine the underlying cause, this is likely to be the so called ''cherry eye''. A check up would be required to confirm this clinical suspicion and treat appropriately.
