What to do if my dog has green eye discharge, redness, and swelling?

my dog has green discharge from his eye and it's red and swollen how should i clean it? can i use something i use to clean my piercings with just by wiping under his eye and avoiding eye contact? i don't have salt and i don't want this to get worse. the vet is also closed and to expensive for me right now what do i do? should i just bath him and try to rinse his eye?

Hi, to gently wipe your dog’s eyes you could used plain boiled water (when cooled down) or camomile tea (always cool) and clean it 3-4 times a day. I would get some money together to have him checked over as greenish discharge can be a sign of infection and with eyes t is always better to get on top of the problem sooner rather than later.
