What causes sneezing and eye discharge in my dog? Is it serious?

6 yo lab. Sneezing , excess discharge from eyes. Ideas on a diagnosis?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Bear. Sneezing and discharge from the eyes are common symptoms of an upper respiratory tract infection. If his symptoms persist, he will need to see his veterinarian as he may require an antibiotic. Seasonal allergies could also cause these symptoms and rarely an infected tooth could do the same. In the meantime, keep his eyes clear of any discharge and keep him home as he may be contagious to other dogs. I hope this information helps!
