Why does my dog keep getting painful paw infections and hot spots?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 6 months old | 50 lbs

Inside of her paws again effected with reddish,smelly,little bit greasy and of course painfull infections that she cant even walk properly.outerside of the body also has hot spot (reddish) especially in abdomen and leg area. The Prblm is that this is not first time this is happening quite often. I hav consulted many time to a doctor he use to give medicin(antibiotics), shampoo and cream. The prblm usually goes away cmpltly within 3 days but occurs again with the same disease.plz tell what to do.

Yes this looks like an infection. Antibiotics should clear it up but I recommend a minimum of three weeks on them to fully heal the feet. In addition you can wash and soak the feet in an antibacterial solution for five minutes twice daily, as well as clean the other areas of the skin that are infected. I would discuss this with your veterinarian to see if there is an allergic component causing the recurrent infections. You may also want to check her thyroid hormone levels as many animals with low thyroid levels have recurrent skin infections.
