My dog bled after brushing her too hard near her lungs. Is she okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Japanese Spitz | Female | spayed | 2 years and 9 months old | 11 lbs

I was brushing the dog and I accidentally brush her to hard where the lungs are and now there is some blood, I really didn't mean to:( will she be ok?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Do not worry, I am sure she knows you did not mean to do that. This is likely going to subside on its own so it would be ok to continue to monitor her for now. If this does not improve in the next week, have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment. Good luck and have a great day!
