Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 110 lbs

My 110 lb 2 year old lab has fleas. I used Nexgard and he threw it up in the first hour of taking it so i threw it out. Then i put the pet armor topical on him but that only kills fleas. Can i use the seresto collar three days after the topical? I do not want to poison him accidentally with all of the medicine please help thanks

Wait about two weeks before putting the Seresto Collar on Oliver. Then it should be fine, In the meantime, check him every day for ticks and when you find a tick, remove it. This should tide you over until you can put the collar on him. Don't forget to vacuum your house often and put flea powder in the vacuum cleaner bag so the vacuumed up flea eggs and larvae will get killed. Make sure you vacuum all areas Oliver has access to.
