Why is my puppy shedding, has bald spots, and red bumps on belly?

My puppy is about 10 months and and very active. Lately he's not eating right and sleeping a lot. I noticed he's shedding way to much and he has a bald spot on his back. He gets red bumps on his belly sometimes too but they come and go. I'm worried my dog is sick can you give me an idea of what it could be? I thought poison ivy as he was around it recently but I don't think it is anymore. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 45 lbs

Hello, sorry to hear about Malik. It sounds like he could potentially have allergies based on the red bumps, bald spot, and shedding. Dogs may develop allergies to the environment, food, or even fleas. He should be seen by his veterinarian if this behavior continues, or he begins to scratch, and if he continues to lose hair. Alternatively, this could be an early signs of a respiratory or GI infection. Have Malik evaluated soon if he is not doing better of if you note any other signs to include a loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, sneezing, or coughing. Hope this helps and best of luck.
