Pet's info: Cat | Ragdoll | Female | unspayed | 1lb
Good day I have a young kitten now about 10 weeks old. I am trying to feed him wet kibble along with wet food. When I do that he ends up with non solid poop. I have tried to increase his kibble intake slowly. Should I wait til he can eat dry kibble? One more question... is 4 ounces of canned food a day too much ? I buy his food from pet smart and the kibble I trying is a non grain product. Bots is a male black with a white under belly raggedy Ann doll kitten. Thank you, Rose-Anne

At 10 weeks of age your kitten should be able to eat kibble just fine. You should not need to add canned food to her diet unless you want to do it occasionally as a snack/treat. You may want to moisten the food with water before feeding her. Soft food can certainly lead to softer stools but you should make sure she has been dewormed too. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
