Is 30% protein (dry kibble) ok for my 6 year old cavalier King Charles spaniel? Is this to high or could it be harmful in any way? Please explain? I'm using Fromm grain free dog food. Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Female | spayed | 6 years old | 17 lbs

Unless your vet had given you specific diet requirements for a specific disease (kidney disease for example), this percentage should be fine. I will warn that some dogs actually develop diarrhea on high-protein foods, though I have seen many pets do great on it. Best wishes to you and Chloe!
