Hey, so my dog has a cluster of what looks like black heads on her chest. What’s going on here? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 3 years and 3 months old | 10 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This looks like a focal infection. This can also be a change in pigmentation without any other effects. You can try to use a medicated shampoo containing chlorhexidine twice weekly for 2 weeks. If there is no improvement or in the meantime this appears to be getting worse, have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good night!
