Poor Duke! Dog bite wounds can get infected very easily. If he has an abscess, he will need prescription antibiotics to treat the infection, so I would recommend taking him to the vet today for an exam. He/she can also listen to his heart and lungs to help determine what may be causing his cough and get him started on appropriate treatment for this also depending on what is found.
