My 4-month-old puppy was bitten by a rabid dog. What do I do?

My dog is bitten from rabies dog.How should i take care of my dog(puppy 4 months)?

I am sorry to hear about Danny. He should immediately go to your vet and they should be notified of what has happened. How his case is handled will depend on regulations in your country. In the United States he would immediately get a rabies booster and be placed in a 6 month quarantine at an approved facility. Rabies is fatal in all cases and can be transmitted to people so you do not want to take any chances in these cases and should follow all the recommendations of the authorities. If you were in contact with this dog or touched wounds from this dog you should also notify your own doctor to see if they recommend treatment for yourself based on your encounter.
