Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered
Hi, My cat is 5/6 years old he hasn’t been neutered he is usually a happy cat but can be very aggressive when provoked Today I was teasing him with his favourite blanket and he didn’t like it and bit my toes quite aggressively there was allot of blood I attended A&E to get it checked out He is an outdoor cat, I have returned home and he’s been targeting me and I’m quite worried that he will attack me and my family members again he hasn’t calm down yet and I’m not too sure what to do

That is unusual behavior so he may be irritable from being in pain. Outdoor unneutered male cats often fight and he may have an injury you can’t see which is painful. I recommend confining him to another room until he calms down so no one else gets injured, and see if he is eating normally. If this behavior continues please take him in for an exam to check for a wound or area of pain. In addition I would consider neutering him also. Neutered male cats seldom fight, they are more docile and less aggressive. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Timmy.
