What's a cheaper way to treat kitten trichomonas than ronidazole?

Is it possible to treat a kitten with trichonomas foetas with something more inexpensive than ronidazole?

Unfortunately, Ronidazole is the only medication that is proven to work again trichomonas. It has to be compounded from a special pharmacy, but depending on where you got it from, there may be other compounding pharmacies that are less expensive.
