Help! My cow's injection site is swollen, not eating, less milk.

Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Female | 2 years and 8 months old

My cow received an injection yesterday but when i woke up today its two thighs where the injection were administered are so swollen. The cow has even reduce in milk production and also its eating appetite. Please help am worried, thanks in advance.

Without knowing what was injected, it would be hard to give advice. It would be best to contact the vet that gave the injections and let them know your cow is having a reaction to them at the site of the injection. Your vet may be able to recommend an antihistamine or other treatment to provide some relief and get her feeling better.
