Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 1 year old | 3 lbs
Two days ago I noticed Buns was limping, dragging her hind legs, could stand on them but had difficulty jumping and running; she seemed to be favoring her left side. Buns doesn't seem to be in pain she is happy, running in circles and going about as usual. Concerned with her abnormal limp I chose to keep her inclement rather than letting her outside in the backyard; which she was very unhappy about. I gently felt for any dislocated joints or ailments but draw a blank. Should I be concerned?

I am sorry to hear about Bun Buns! Rabbits unfortunately are prone to developing back injuries which can cause weakness or paralysis in the hind legs due to neurological damage. I would recommend confining Bun Buns and getting him to the vet as soon as possible for evaluation. The vet will do a physical examination, test reflexes, and may recommend an x-ray to help determine what is causing his symptoms and how best to treat Bun Buns.
