Why does my dog lick her paws in her crate? How can I stop it?

My dog licks her front paws neurotically when she is put in her crate. Why? How can I prevent this?

This behavior is likely due to stress and this is the behavior that Galadriel exhibits when stressed / confined. I would recommend the below calming products and see if these help.
