My mama cat overfeeds kitten; why is he not eating and just sleeping?

My outdoor cat overfeed her 4 month old kitten. She brings her mouses and pigeon and other stuff daily even though he is not hungry she makes him eat. Today he overate and she still brought him mouse but he was reluctant to eat and did'nt eat the whole day just laying and sleeping. How should I tack care of him??? Obviousl she is a very good mama. He will actually only eat as much as he wants. Mama cannot make him eat. She is apparently still trying to teach him how to hunt and he just may be a little bit slow to learn. Just remove the dead prey as you find it. eventually she will stop.
