My cat was hit, is lost, not eating, and drooling. What can I do?

Cat got hit a week ago,found away to bring to a vet 2 days ago, unfortunately cat went out since we didn't have a cage. The cat hasnt returned yet. The cat stays in the receiving area of our house. Cat couldn't eat, drooling,mouth is open. I am losing hope that this cat is still alive. I am depressed.

Hi, there is no way of knowing if he is still alive but I would not lose hope. Maybe you could put a message through mailboxes and on local facebook pages. Maybe someone has found him and they are trying to keep him indoors since he is not well. I would also contact your and any other vet in the area. Hope you get some news soon.
