My dog ate ant granules and is throwing up. What should I do now?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 2 months old | 70 lbs

My 70lb Lab digested ant granules 4 hours ago and is now feeling poorly. He's thrown up. I'm just wondering if there is anything I should give him to help him.

Please call the Pet poison control number for advice: 24/7 Animal Poison Control Center 855-764-7661 $59 USD per incident fee applies Please have the label of the ant granules or the container they came in available and ready when on the phone. The Poison Control center will assess the situation with you on the phone and will be able to advise you properly.
