I am sorry to hear about Roscoe. We would be concerned about possible bacterial infection, fungal infection, parasites such as mites, endocrine diseases, and allergies with these symptoms. I would make an appointment with your vet for an exam. They will do an exam and get a detailed history which can help guide them in determining what tests and treatment may be needed.
