Why is my puppy's ear laying differently? Is it an infection?

Hello, My 4mth old puppy has one ear that is starting to lay differently.. she is a rescue and has a mix of border collie and some terrier... in fact her ears look similar to a Jack Russel. We are just trying to figure out if her ear is bothering her. Thanks! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 21 days old | 18 lbs

Sometimes this can be contributed to developmental factors and the cartilage in the ear becomes more firm in a particular position. Sometimes an ear infection can cause an ear to lay differently then the other. I would recommend having Lily's ears examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps!
