Why does my dog have a swollen, foul-smelling leg and trouble walking?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female

My dog Sadie is a rescue I don't have images at the momme since I'm typing this on my phone but she was chasing a boat and later she came back all wet and she have a weard large bump in her right hand leg and she smells foal I need to know what's wrong iean I don't see any visable puss or blood I don't know if it's iternal bleeding or it's arthritis I mean she looks she have a hard time Getting up after laying down I need advice

I am so sorry to hear about Sadie! Without seeing it in person it is difficult to say what the problem is. With her history and a newly occurring, large lump, I would be concerned for some type of trauma. I think you are right to be concerned about bleeding under the skin. This does not always have to be severe, but it sounds like she is in pain and I think it would be safest to have her examined. At the very least they will alleviate her discomfort and your fears! I hope this helps and she is back to normal soon!
