My cat cries and it’s heartbreaking. She’s away from her kittens. What can I do to help? Will she be okay?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Finella! I am assuming the kittens are weaned and at new homes? If so then she will be fine soon. Try to keep everything stable and the routines the same. Animals can pick up on our distress too. She is still hormonal in a sense but will slowly get over the kittens growing up and leaving. The other possibility is that she is in heat again. Cats can go right back in to heat quickly after the kittens are weaned. If the kittens are still int eh house, gradually limit her time with them. I wish you the best!
