Hello. I have got a budgie of around 3 years old (what my vet said) and she shakes her feathers alot and then sneezes. I am giving her doxcycline 0.1 mg everyday with a syringe because she sneezes frequently and the vet told me do that and gave me the medicine. She normally sings alot and complains when u put her in her cage. Now she seems more timid.

I am so sorry that your budgie isn't feeling well! It can be very stressful for budgies to get medications, and this may be why she is becoming more timid. I didn't see you mention how long you have been giving the medications, but if it has been a couple of days or longer and she has not improved, I would recommend contacting your veterinarian to let them know. If the antibiotics aren't working or if she is becoming more sick, this may be another reason that she is becoming more timid. Your veterinarian may want to re-evaluate her and may change your treatment plan. I hope that gives you a place to start, and I hope your budgie feels better very soon.
