My dog needs his next vaccine. Can he get it sooner than 4 weeks?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | neutered | 6 years old

My dog has just restarted his vacation program. The vet said to have the next one in 4 weeks but is it allowed to have it after 2 weeks due to timing issues?

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. 2 weeks is really too soon for the next vaccine. 3 weeks is early but is acceptable if you have to, 4 weeks is ideal. Longer than 4 weeks you start to run the risk of the whole set not working. I hope that answers your question, best of luck with Tuco.
