My puppy has itchy skin. Dry skin or scabies? Can neem juice help?

I don't know that my puppy is having dry skin or scabies . And my vet told me to apply lindane lotion by mixing it in 1.5ml in half litre of water. And wash it after one hour. Daily. Can I use Raw grind Neem juice to apply it on my dog coat regularly. Tell me a home remedies. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 8 lbs

To differentiate between dry skin or scabies; Scabies will usually cause VERY BAD itching; whereas dry skin is usually mild itching. I can't find any reason that it would be harmful to use neem juice on your dog's coat, but not sure it will help. If he's not improving, ideally I would recommend that you recheck with your vet. While home remedies may help, its hard to know what's best to recommend if we don't know the problem. I'm sorry I don't have a more specific answer here!
