Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would try to discourage or prevent him from eating it. Small amounts likely wouldn't be a problem but a lot could cause an upset stomach or a blockage. I would store the chicken feed where he can't get it and when you feed the chickens keep him out.
