My dog won't potty on road trips. Is it normal if she's scared?

Is it normal for a dog not to potty on road trips? We try to get her to potty every time we stop but she won’t. She is scared of the cars and trucks on the road. We stopped at my aunt in laws for 2 hours and she still wouldn’t potty. Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 14 days old | 15 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Since she is so scared and you are on a road trip I don’t think it’s unusual she hasn’t gone. if she really had to go she would. Just keep trying and offering her water. Since she is an otherwise healthy dog I think she will go eventually. Good luck!
