Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 5 years and 6 months old | 9 lbs
Our cat was prescribed liquid Biomox by his vet. The only guidance we were given was a) keep it refrigerated and b) give a 1 mL dose twice a day. We are on the third day and I realized that in small print on the bottle it says to dilute the medicine with 11 mL of water. Have we been overmedicating our cat because we did not dilute the medicine? The vet said nothing about this, and it isn't on the label or paperwork the vet gave us. Thank you!

Hi there. The instructions on the box refer to the dry powder form of the medication, which is how it comes from the manufacturer. Your veterinarian diluted it with water to make a liquid prior to dispensing it to you. So in short - no, you don't need to worry about this at all. Continue giving the medication as directed :)
