Hello! I have a concern about my dog Toffy. I'm almost 100% sure that he ate a little chunk of dish soap last night. Today morning he threw up twice, and now like 10 minutes ago he threw up again. He hasn't diahrrea or any other bad symptom. What can I do? BTW, he also ate a small piece of toilet paper.... Thanx!

Withhold food for the next 12-24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts. Begin with 1 tablespoon of food every hour and gradually increase the amount if there is no vomiting. Feed bland until symptoms resolve then transition slowly back to his regular diet. A small bit of plain toilet paper should pass on it's own without issues. Monitor for persistent vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, loss of appetite or abdominal pain. These are symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian.
