Can metronidazol cause fatigue and what appears to be confusion? Vet Rx of it yesterday. Admitted for dehydration and chronic diarrhea. I picked up his ball and pretend to throw and its lightning fast reflex from him.. Other than that he's just laying around. His stools are not every few minutes any longer and the blood is gone. They found bacteria in him from testing. No vomit in three days now. The problem I'm having is his sporadic eating since three days ago. Can he drink pedialyte

Both metronidazole and dehydration would be associated with lethargy and possibly behavior changes. Yes he can get pedialyte and you should ensure he has fresh water at all times also, try softened food also to improve fluid intake
