Why is my dog gassy and pooping weird after spay surgery?

Hello my 11 month old, got spayed yesterday. She is doing very well, I keeping her crated apart from on my lap for cuddles and wee wee. She is normally a picky eater and has dry kibble. But today I wet moistened her food and she wolfed it down. But this evening she had been passing smelly wind. Is that due to me moistening her food or perhaps the surgery? She did a poo just now first part was yellow and soft then ended with a firm brown stool. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 11 months and 22 days old
