How do I tell if cat is retard? he stare at wall all day and not move like other cats I see. I feed him catnip for food with can tuna. I mix the catnip in the tuna. He eat a lot of catnip, does too much catnip make the cat retard? I am worried he has retard and is not smart like other cat.

Catnip when eaten acts as a sedative and this may be contributing to the signs you are reporting. A high or exclusively tuna diet is not a balanced diet for a cat and can lead to multiple deficiencies including vitamin e and taurine. I recommend feeding a complete cat food of a tuna/salmon variety with only very occasional treats of tuna (less than once a week)
