My dog's stomach is hard, she's whining. Is it a vet emergency?

my dog has been whining, she laying down a lot, she stomach feel alittle harder than normal same with her throat. she’s not in pain but she seems uncomfortable. i think she’s constipated and i’ve given her milk to help get things going. i want to know if i should take her in to get checked? Pet's info: Dog | Yorkipoo | Female | spayed | 13 lbs

Please take Precious to the vet right away. It sounds like she is in pain based on your description, and it's important that she be seen to figure out why and to get her treated. Dairy products can sometimes cause gastrointestinal upset, which may make her current problem worse, so I wouldn't give any more milk. Good luck, and I hope she feels better soon!
