My dog has a bump on her nose. Is it a spider bite or something else?

My dog has gotten this on her nose over the day, just wondering what it might be? Could it be a spider bite?

I’m sorry to hear that Charlie has this going on. Yes, a spider bite could cause a lesion like that. However, skin infection, ring worm, eosinophilic furunculosis, or even potentially a tumor could appear like this. If it isn’t rapidly improving then I would encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian soon. A microscopic examination may be helpful in creating a treatment plan.     It looks like Charlie is experiencing some sort of allergic reaction. If you can not get him to the veterinarian, the best thing you can do is get him some benadryl. At a vet, they would administer a steroid to reduce the inflammation. I would also say that you should try and take his temperature at home. If it is above 102.5, this is indicative of a fever. I would start to cool him with a moist towel if this is the case. If the temperature is greater than 104.0, I would say that you need to find a way to get him to the vet. There will be some that will work with you financially or provide you with a service to lend money. Hope this helps.
